WAKENABEB

Yesterday, we watched TV as usual. The program was WAKENABEB… One of the celebrities was framed by her friends and hubby. She was cried because she was accused by a woman claimed that she had an affair with the woman’s husband. She denied and told that the man was just her friend. My husband asked me why the celebrities cried. Then I answered, “Mestilah dia mengangis. Dia tu artis, kalau berita macam tu wartawan tau, habis laa reputasi dia sebagai artis”. Then Diyana asked me, “Artis tu apa ibu?” and I answered “Artis ni pelakon laa. Dia berlakon dalam TV”. Diyana replied, “Tapi teacher cakap artist tu orang yang pandai melukis”. I was shocked with that statement. WAKENABEB!!!!! My hubby just laughed, then I replied, “Diyana, kalau dalam Bahasa Melayu, artis tu sama maksud dengan pelakon, tapi dalam English pelakon tu maksud dia actor untuk pelakon lelaki, actress untuk pelakon perempuan”. Diyana replied, “Habis tu kenapa tadi ibu kata artis tu pelakon, bukan actress”. Aaaaahhhhhhhhh…. WAKENABEBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!!!
